MMRI is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit medical research organization established in 1995 and located in the heart of Silicon Valley, in Sunnyvale, CA.

MMRI comprises a full complement of research scientists conducting studies to understand disease pathways, identify novel disease targets, discover the means to modulate those targets, with the goal of contributing to the improvement of patient care.

Through innovation, collaboration, research, and analysis, MMRI research scientists further the understanding of disease pathways that may lead to the identification of novel diagnostic tools and therapeutics. MMRI’s extensive laboratory space and diverse work environment supports a cooperative and innovative approach to the research endeavors of its scientists. Research facilities include laboratory space that is fully equipped for immunology, cell biology, and molecular biology experimentation as well as medicinal and analytical chemistry.
